Grateful Bread Company is a local, family-run Denver bakery. We use only the finest natural ingredients in all our products. Our artisan bakers take pride in hand-shaping every loaf and hand-rolling every pastry to ensure that we are creating the most authentic breads and pastries possible.

We are now selling retail breads and pastries at the bakery the first Saturday of every month at our bakery from 10 am to 2 pm. Below is a list of the items we will be selling on Saturday (and additional items may be available for pre-order - see list below). 

 

The bakery is located at 425 Violet Street in Golden. Please click on the Directions button for directions to the bakery. For those of you who have visited our bakery before, we took over the space next door and the retail will now be sold out of Unit 425, which is in the front (on the long side of building 4) on your left as you drive in. Just go up the stairs and to your right. (And since quite a few people have been lining up outside before we open, you may now go into the foyer to wait until 10 AM to get out of the weather.)

 

Sales at the bakery are CASH only, but if you pre-order we can take a credit card over the phone. Please get your pre-order in no later than Monday night as many of the breads take several days to make.

 

Our French baguettes and ciabatta may now be purchased fresh every day from Eat + Drink at 1541 Platte St. in Denver.

We often sell out of certain items, so if you’d like to ensure that you get the breads and pastries you want, you can place a pre-paid order and we will have your breads and/or pastries waiting for you. To pre-order your items, please email or call 303-681-5406. If you call between 8 to 5 Mon - Fri tell our answering service you’re placing a retail order and they’ll put you into the retail voice mail box (or if you call after hours press Option #2). Someone will call you back to confirm your order and to get credit card information for pre-payment. Please get your order in no later than Monday night for any pre-orders as many of the breads take several days to make.
